Ashley lives to be an amplifier of others and improve everything all the time. That’s the mantra she brings to her role as Chief Executive Officer of HCM every single day. She’s a third-generation owner who learned early on never to settle for the status quo and continuously look for what’s next. That’s what’s led her to spearhead growth initiatives like the creation and launch of HCM’s proprietary analytics driven platform to expand client support and improve patient experience throughout the revenue cycle.
Ashley considers everyone at HCM family, and she extends that care and commitment to each and every patient we serve. Her vision for the betterment of patient outcomes continues to inspire our drive and passion for what we do. Outside of HCM, she is passionate about supporting local independent businesses, the art and music community, and being a loving mom to her growing sons.
Audra serves HCM as Chief Operating Officer, where she has been a top operation’s executive since 2003. With almost two decades of experience in the revenue cycle management industry, Audra fosters a unique environment with a servant’s heart that innovates a culture of family values, collaboration, and client success. She is highly skilled in every aspect of revenue cycle management and oversees an annual recovery of nearly $160 million for top healthcare clients across the nation.
Audra’s extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management has given her unique analytical proficiency along with a meticulous systematic drive for success. Her keen sense of awareness allows her to see the big picture and she employs strategic planning skills that promote both personal and professional growth. Audra personally invests in each person on her team to ensure a commitment to excellence for every client they serve. She is responsible for daily operations management and ensuring a smooth transition for new business integration, in addition to client success. Her dedication to family values helps streamline operations and propagates a dedication to virtue among her colleagues. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves to travel and spend time with her family. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Ball State University.
David serves as the Chief Financial Officer of HCM and is heavily involved in the company leadership. David was an instrumental founding member of Healthcare Claims Management from its inception in 2000 but formally accepted the role of CFO in 2017. He has also served as the Executive Director and Collections Manager at Med Shield Inc., for the past 29 years giving him critical experience in the field. Med Shield, Inc. is a national patient-centered receivable recovery company with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
With almost three decades of experience in the industry, David focuses his efforts on developing and nurturing relationships within the client base of HCM. He values honesty, integrity, and reliability; elements he fosters in each of his customer relationships. David is highly knowledgeable in HIPAA law compliance and the healthcare revenue cycle, but his heart is in customer service. He values every customer touchpoint and strives to develop a meaningful relationship with each client. David attended Purdue University at Indianapolis and first learned collections with Finance America. He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and a past president of the Indiana Collectors Association. David loves boating in his spare time.
Jeremiah has been Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at HCM since 2016. He directs and oversees all legal aspects of regulatory compliance, contracts, business development, insurance, and intellectual property. Mr. Pastrick also serves on the Executive Leadership Team at HCM where he participates in client relationship management as well as all aspects of marketing efforts. He draws from his previous experience in business development and global intellectual property creation and protection at an Indianapolis-based consulting firm to provide thought leadership in the business mindset.
Jeremiah spent 15 years as Vice President and Intellectual Property Counsel at Continental Enterprises, Inc. where he developed new accounting practices that increased billing efficiency and reduced receivables for the company. His unique experience in drafting and negotiating license agreements, independent contractor management and systems administration give him the essential skills necessary to be effective as Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel at HCM.
Jeremiah holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Management from Indiana University Bloomington and a Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law. He is also the Principal Owner of Pastrick Law LLC specializing in Intellectual property protection, anti-counterfeiting and managed legal services.
Patrick joined HCM as an Operations Strategist and Talent Acquisition Consultant in 2013 and his gift became apparent soon after. He has more than two decades of experience in customer service and call center relations where he honed his skills for workforce management processes. He implemented a cloud-based applicant tracking solution which soon increased the applicant candidate pool by a whopping 1,000 percent, reduced employee turnover by 14 percent and saved HCM over $200K annually in staffing fees. In 2017 Patrick was promoted to Vice President of Talent, Learning, and Culture at HCM.
Prior to his position with HCM, Patrick was a Systems Director and St. Vincent Health for 11 years where he provided strategic direction and support for the health system’s multiple contact centers. He also executed strategic relationship marketing plans and developed extensive training for the liaison team, preparing him for his important leadership role at HCM.
Patrick has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Hanover College. He is a member of the American Marketing Association, the Public Relations Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. Patrick also helped establish the Pediatric Nurse Advice Line at St. Vincent Children’s Hospital.
Wesley joined HCM in 2017 as Director, Analytics & Client Integration, specializing in implementing, customizing and optimizing EMR integration, HCM analytics and reporting, and data-driven strategies. During that time, Wesley has worked with many clients to build high engagement and scalable solutions with our clients.
Throughout his career, Wesley has produced enterprise solutions and ad-hoc reporting models including relational and columnar models. He also delivered executive dashboards and multi-tiered reporting applications, including key performance indicators (KPIs) with dynamic links to detailed analytics.
Wesley is an active HFMA Colorado Chapter member, active Kaggler, and practiced scrum master. He is knowledgeable in numerous solutions including Tableau, Yellowfin BI, Pentaho, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Jaspersoft.
Wesley has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Indiana University.
Jim joined HCM in 2017 as the Senior Vice President of Insurance Optimization and brings over three decades of healthcare revenue cycle and financial operations experience to HCM and its clients. Jim draws from his experience as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle with a multi-hospital system and multi-specialty physician network to streamline systems and improve revenue cycle management. As Vice President of HCM’s Insurance Recoveries Services, Jim’s forward thinking and strategic planning help improve accounts receivables performance for HCM clients.
Mr. Terpstra utilizes Lean principles and methods to focus on team development and team leadership techniques to build a thriving and efficient community of colleagues. He leans on the principals he developed in the Navy to optimize performance. Duty, integrity, honor, courage, and loyalty are at the core of everything he does. Jim was a satisfied client partner for more than 20 years before making the move to HCM. He continually strives to build on the professionalism and dedication he experienced before making the career move to HCM.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the United States Navy and aims to facilitate growth through integrity. He is an active member of the Healthcare Finance Association and the Disabled Veterans Association.
Michael has been the National Director of Client Partnerships since 2018. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in business operations, revenue cycle management, and customer service. He is skilled at developing and achieving business objectives, including sales goals and client performance expectations. His mission to demonstrate honesty and integrity helps him to solve customer pain points, meet client’s needs and build long term relationships on a foundation of mutual respect. Michael’s operations and sales experience give him the innate skills to facilitate a smooth onboarding and implementation process for new clients, making him an asset to the process.
Michael’s extreme dedication to client satisfaction makes him a leader in his field and an asset to both HCM and their clients. He can draw from his valuable insight into the revenue cycle operations to establish and maintain strong and efficient, yet profitable working relationships with client partners. He demonstrates ethical behavior to provide value-added services which benefit colleagues and business associates. Michael is a National member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Tennessee HFMA Sponsorship Chair. He is also a member of the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Program and an avid outdoorsman in his spare time.

She has a knack for knowing where we’ll be just the right fit, and a talent for helping us make the biggest difference not only for our clients, but also for the patients they care for.
Jessica’s passion for relationships is in fact what brought her to HCM. As a family-owned business, the atmosphere is one of rooting for each other and pushing each other to be better every day.
